POSTPONED: ‘Oor Watters’ Gala - 9th and 10th May

It's the Scottish Year of Coasts and Waters so come and celebrate with us!

There is so much to SEA and do, all included in your regular entry price!

Join us in the Sea-Habilitation tent to find out about our native wildlife, marine and riverine environments from the people who are working to conserve and promote them and discover how you can help and get involved!

Check out the Sea-Active tent to get on out and in the water!

All weekend there will workshops to extract microplastics from beach sand, face painting, dive shows, talks, feed shows and much more including special guest speaker Emily Penn on Sunday afternoon. Emily is an ocean advocate and skipper who has spent a decade at sea, exploring plastic pollution from the tropics to the Arctic. She will be talking to us about her adventures at sea and what we can do towards tackling the problems surrounding marine plastics.

We also have some great activities that can be booked separately:

Boat trips to Troup Head to see our local seabird city for this weekend only, with North 58 Sea Adventures

and

Coastal Foraging and Wildlife Tours, with Dan Puplett

And while you're in the area, head along to Banff for the Coastal Fringe Festival at Duff House and Banff Castle for a fabulous weekend on the Banffshire Coast!
