CHRISTMAS FUN AND DIVING SANTA

22nd and 23rd December 2007

Santa aqain swapped his mince pies for some fish pies at Christmas as he dropped into the main tank here at the aquarium to give our fish their Christmas treats! Seeing Santa diving is always good fun - especially as the fish love to nibble his beard - and Santa certainly seems to enjoy himself swimming with the fish - he keeps coming back, anyway! It probably makes a change from squeezing down chimneys!

Also that weekend there was lots of seasonal fun in the aquarium, including quizzes and Chrismas face painting. RSPB staff joined us on the Saturday to make sure that our feathered friends weren't forgotten this winter and made bird feeders! On Sunday, Santa managed to spend some time in the aquarium after his dip in the tank to chat to visitors and collect Christmas wish lists.

It was a great weekend - and Santa promised to come back next Christmas so we can look forward to doing it all again!
