Macduff Sea Club

Macduff Marine Aquarium is pleased to be running a Saturday club for children starting in Spring.

The Macduff Sea Club is designed for kids who want to learn more about the aquarium, our native marine life and get hands on with environmental issues facing our ocean.

After a successful pilot project last year, which was supported utilities company TAQA, the club will be opened up to anyone between nine and 12 years of age wanting to participate.

The club will meet roughly one Saturday morning per month from March to November 2023 and the sessions will be running in two blocks with four sessions each. These need to be booked in advance and will cost £35 per block. Please note the blocks will have different content so that the same children can book onto both blocks without repeating sessions.

The club will focus on environmental themes with lots of fun hands-on activities, trips to the aquarium’s rocky beach, experiments, data collection and exclusive access to explore the aquarium before it is open to visitors.

All sessions are now FULLY BOOKED.

If you require any more information please email: macduff.aquarium@aberdeenshire.gov.uk

All sessions will run from 9:15-10:45 am on the dates outlined below.

The session dates are:

18th March

22nd April

13th May

10th June

Block 2:
