Doug Allan at the Silver Splash 8th and 9th April 2022
Wildlife cameraman and TV presenter Doug Allan gives exclusive evening talks at the aquarium about his polar filming adventures on Friday 8th April and Saturday 9th April. Hear all about Doug's experiences filming alongside Sir David Attenborough for series such as 'The Blue Planet' and 'Planet Earth', and what it takes to dive under the ice to film some of the giants of the deep! Doug will also be in the Sea-Habilitation tent during the Silver Splash weekend to chat with visitors.
Friends of Macduff Marine Aquarium are hosting two exclusive evenings with Doug Allan as part of the Silver Splash celebrations at the aquarium.

How do you get close to polar bears without being eaten? Is it true your eyeballs freeze at minus 50o? Which is more dangerous – a leopard seal or a walrus? Illustrated with his own images, and a wealth of stories from behind the scenes, award winning cameraman Doug Allan puts on a spectacular show.
