Contact the aquarium for details of our special admission rates for groups of 10 or more. Adults with special needs are entitled to one free accompanying carer admission and those on a low income are eligible for concession rates (proof will be needed).
The building is all on one level and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Disabled-access toilets and baby changing facilities are available.
How to Get Here
The aquarium is on the High Shore of Macduff, just east of the Harbour. There is a large car park with space for coaches.
By Road From Aberdeen, take the A947 through Dyce, Old Meldrum and Turriff. Turn off for Macduff and follow the signs past the harbour to the aquarium. Travel time: 1 hour. From Fraserburgh, take the A98 which goes right through Macduff. Follow the signs for the aquarium. Travel time: 40 minutes. From Elgin, take the A96 until Fochabers and join the A98 towards Fraserburgh. Go through Banff and on to Macduff. Pass the harbour and turn left, following the signs for the aquarium. Travel time: 50 minutes
By Bus From Aberdeen or Elgin – take the bus number 35 Elgin/Aberdeen via Coast. Call Traveline on 0871 2002233 for times.
