Pop-up Marine Conservation Society - April 6th
Come join in this special event to discover the fantastic work that the Marine Conservation Society have been leading throughout the UK, including project DEEP in the Dornoch Firth!
The Dornoch Environmental Enhancement Project (DEEP) is a partnership project between The Glenmorangie Company, Heriot-Watt University and the Marine Conservation Society which is reintroducing Native European Oysters into the Dornoch Firth to help improve water quality, enhance marine life and demonstrate the carbon storage potential of a restored oyster reef. Come along and hear how this restoration project is making global news and find out about the other fantastic work Marine Conservation Society have been leading throughout the UK.
This is a special pop-up event for one day only; there will be a talk at 12:30 and 15:30 and with Tom Bannerman, Dornoch Restoration Officer from the Marine Conservation Society! He will be available all day to drop in and chat about the great work that the MCS is doing.
